The Humelink project is a once-in-a-generation investment in Australia’s high voltage transmission network and is planned to support the transition to a low emissions generation portfolio. This project is a critical part of AEMO’s ISP, connecting a new 500 kV transmission link through Wagga Wagga, Bannaby and Maragle to the existing transmission network, and supporting large scale renewable energy generation.
Humelink will reinforce Transgrid’s transmission network in southern NSW to improve the flow of electricity from new generation sources in southern and western NSW to major demand centres in the State, and to customers across the NEM (National Energy market).
The project will be delivered under two separate Contract Packages – Humelink East and Humelink West. Humelink East and Humelink West will join and integrate to form HumeLink, and enable the Project to operate safely, reliably, and efficiently as part of Transgrid’s network and the NEM as a whole.
AGJV has been contracted to deliver the Humelink East package.
ACTION: YOU MUST REGISTER WITH 3D SAFETY FIRST AND COMPLETE THE HUMELINK INDUCTION PRIOR TO REGISTERING WITH PEGASUS WORKFORCE
All subcontractors to Humelink East (AGJV) will receive an invitation to complete registration of their business and workers into the Transgrid’s Worker Safety, Authorisation and Training portal. All contractors and workers on Humelink East project must be registered. The process is completed in two parts: business registration, and worker registration, including Power System Safety Rules (PSSR) bookings.
We suggest you read through the instructions and give yourself time to source the information needed to work for Transgrid. Your administrators will complete this process for your business and each worker.
If your business is already registered, you may use the Login button at the top of the page, and follow the instructions under Stage 2: Register Your Workers to ensure each employee is site-ready for this project. If your business is not registered please follow instructions under Stage 1: Register Your Business.
Video and document user guides can be found from the Help and Resources page.
